Welcome Haven of Rest!

Located in “The Friendliest City in South Carolina”, Haven of Rest Ministries serves the hurting and homeless community of Anderson, South Carolina.

The Biblically-based program seeks to rescue, restore, and release those facing life-dominating problems by meeting their immediate needs and introducing hope through Jesus Christ.

This is perfectly illustrated in the words of a Haven client, who said, “In the past six months at the Haven of Rest, I have learned to fully stand in the rhythm of God’s grace.  Looking back at who I was six months ago, and see where I am now is an example of what God can do…”

Founded in 1960 by Christian businesses who had a heart to serve the homeless in their community, Haven has grown in response to an overwhelming need and is now sheltering approximately 90 men and women every day.  As Haven relies upon God’s providence through the faithful support of donors, all services and programs are provided freely without charge.
